Oakley Rangers     -    'ROCK Band' DIVISION!

Oakley Vale Community Association are keen to offer leisure opportunities particularly to local 11-18 year olds

Committee member Paul Balmer is a Rockschool guitar teacher / qualified youth worker / CRB checked qualified teacher and author of ;-

 The Haynes Fender Stratocaster Manual.

Together we are piloting a scheme offering free group guitar lessons for an hour every Saturday at The Grampian club. The participants will perform at our annual 'Oki Doki Family Fun Day'.

Any participating young people sign up to a verbal 'Citizens Charter' agreeing to help with community youth communications and take part in some local environmental activities.

We have a drummer and keyboard player but would welcome a bass player and more singers!

We hope eventually to extend the Rangers into sports training and other youth leisure areas
