We, the residents of Oakley Vale, call upon the Department of Transport, the Department of Communities, Corby Borough Council, North Northants Development Company and Northamptonshire County Council to include appropriate mitigation against noise and air pollution as an essential part of the A43 Southern Link Road plans where the road runs alongside Oakley Vale. We respectfully suggest that these issues are addressed prior to funding approval and commencement of any groundworks.

Anyone complaining about the scheme are silly NIMBYs with too much time on their hands. The scheme was given the go-ahead in 2002, long before work on Oakley Vale had even started.
You bought your houses with the knowledge of the link road, so stop complaining now.
